What this keyboard covers

The keys are the teaching set shared by the English IPA chart: consonants, vowels and diphthongs used by General American and British RP-style transcriptions, and four marks (stress, secondary stress, length and syllable break). It is not the full International Phonetic Alphabet and it plays no audio.

Symbols are copied as Unicode text. The keyboard never changes a transcript on another page; to fix one word, open it in thetranscriber, where the word editor has the same keys.
